What You Need:

All you need for this project are two tools and two materials, namely slip joint pliers, basin wrench, sink sprayer, and plumber’s putty.

What to Do:

1. Get some plumber’s putty (a ¼-inch bead) and apply to the sprayer base’s bottom edge. The sprayer base’s tailpiece should then be placed in the sink opening.

2. On top of the tailpiece, place a friction washer from below the sink. Use slip joint pliers or a basin wrench for tightening the mounting nut onto the tailpiece after screwing it into place.

Any excess plumber’s putty found around the base should be wiped off.

3. The sprayer hose will now be manually screwed onto the hose nipple, which is found on the faucet’s bottom part.

Make sure the hose nut gets a good grip after hand-tightening it by following up with a quarter-turn from the slip joint pliers or basin wrench.
